CHUM Scrip

The CHUM Scrip (Merchant Gift Card) Program is the primary source for summer church camp and retreat scholarships.  If you are a purchaser of gift cards for your own shopping or as gifts, we invite you to make these purchases through the CHUM Scrip Program.  There is no extra charge to you.  Participating merchants donate a percentage of the card value (2%-15%) to the church.

Many of you have expressed concern over the amount of waste plastic used gift cards generate. We agree, and are pleased to let you know that we have located a merchant who is able to recycle our used gift cards. Just place your used gift cards in the bin located next to the CHUM SCRIP table and we will handle the rest.
 
Or don’t toss out those CHUM SCRIP gift cards at all! A growing number of our merchants are offering reloadable gift cards through CHUM Scrip. You purchase one card from us, then register the card at shopwithscrip.com and reload it when your balance is getting low. CHUMC still gets the credit and you can ensure that you are never caught without a SCRIP card at the following merchants: Starbucks, Lowe’s, Papa Johns, CVS, Exxon/Mobil, GAP. Please stop by and talk with us if you are interested in reloadable gift cards or just being able to order your CHUM Scrip cards online.
